Fitting Guide:

1. Remove the elbow from the mask by pressing in the side buttons of the elbow and pulling it away. Make sure that both lower headgear straps are released.
2. Ensure the base of the cushion sits in the crease of your chin and swing the mask up towards your nose, then pull the headgear over your head.
3. Adjust both straps of the upper headgear evenly until the mask is stable.
4. Bring the lower straps below your ears and loop the headgear into the lower hooks on the frame.
5. Adjust the lower headgear straps evenly until the mask is stable.  The fitting should be firm yet comfortable. Do not over tighten.
6. Connect the air tubing from the device to the elbow.
7. Attach the elbow to the mask by pressing the side buttons and pushing the elbow into the mask.
8. Turn the device on to pressurize the mask.
9. The mask may require adjustments once laying down in bed.  If it does, lift the mask away from your face a short distance, then put it back into position.  Ensure the lower part of the cushion sits in the crease of your chin.  Undo the fastening tabs on the upper headgear straps.  Reposition both the straps evenly, only enough until a seal is achieved, then reattach the tabs.

Cleaning tips (outlined by the American Thoracic Society April 2020):

• Daily: clean full face mask cushion daily with a damp cloth and mild detergent, may use mask wipes
• Weekly: clean full mask system (including headgear) with warm water and mild soap (dish soap). Rinse with water and then air dry away from direct sunlight.

Recommended replacement every 6 months.
